Magic Your Way Pass

Where to Find Discount Disney Resort Vacations

Did you know that Disney created special value resorts just for those people who aren’t able to afford the cost of their deluxe resorts, but still want to experience the magic of Disney at one of their fantastic hotels? There are four discount Disney resort vacation options, which are called Disney’s All-Star Value resorts. Here are the four choices you have when looking into discount Disney resort vacations, and the differences you’ll find between them:

Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort

The All-Star Movies resort is on the south end of Walt Disney World’s property, and is decorated with iconic elements from Disney movies of the past. For example, there’s a Fantasia pool, a pond with a Mighty Ducks theme, and statues of some characters from Disney’s Toy Story. There is also a large food court in place of a dining hall like at the deluxe resorts, and there is also a poolside bar.

Most of the All-Star Movies rooms have two double beds, and several rooms have king-sized beds for families that need a little extra room. There’s also the convenience of in-room pizza delivery and there are fridges available for an extra fee. Notably, guests have the Disney Channel and ESPN available to them on an in-room television for free!

Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort

The All-Star Sports resort has giant novelty decorations like all the other All-Star resorts, and here you’ll find Surfboard Bay, a football field made with giant Xs and Os, and an enormous football helmet.

There is a food-court style eating area instead of a hotel restaurant here, which means that families can replace expensive sit-down meals with cheaper items that are fortunately still healthy. Most rooms are also available with two double beds, but some rooms are available with king-sized beds. Non-smoking rooms and disability accessible rooms are also available. Though there are few additional amenities, there is an in-room safe in each room, and a television with ESPN and the Disney Channel.

Disney’s All-Star Music Resort

This resort has giant decorations of musical instruments, and one of the two pools here is shaped like a guitar. The buildings are decorated according to different styles of music, and even the wallpaper has musical notes and pictures of music artists from the past and present. It is more suited to adults than the other Value resorts, as it’s considered the most quiet of the four, and it even has its own themed gift shop called Maestro Mickey.

The resort has similar rooms to the previously mentioned resorts, however some rooms have been converted to larger suite sizes to fit six-person families and a crib.

Disney’s Pop Century Resort

The newest of the four Value resorts, the Pop Century is themed around the different decades of American culture. There are giant items that decorate the premises, and there are large phrases and icons for the various decades that are being represented. Some examples of items here are giant foozeball men or an old-style Mickey Mouse statue. More areas are being added to this resort and they will open sometime in the near future, though Disney is hesitant to give a finishing date for the work.
