Looking for a Discount Disney Cruise Vacation?Although it’s not easy to get good rates on a discount Disney cruise vacation, here are a few hints on where to start looking for deals. Remember, you need to be persistent in your search, and stay patient – you may not find something right away, but don’t give up! There are some deals out there if you look hard enough. 1) Ask Your Travel Agent: some travel agents know the best tricks for getting deals on a discount Disney cruise vacation, and they’re not sharing their secrets with anyone! The truth is, they can sometimes get special offers from Disney that no one else gets, so check with them first to see what they can do for you. 2) Check the Cruise Line Magical Rates List: are the dates you were thinking about traveling on flexible? Are you willing to make a change if it means a better deal? Every year, Disney publishes a list of “Magical Rates”, which is updated each week to tell you what dates and boats are sailing in the near future that you can have a discounted fare on. These are applicable for the 3-day, 4-day, and 7-day cruise vacations. It’s probably the most reliable method of getting a discounted cruise, but it does require you to be very flexible and willing to change your plans at the last minute. There are also only 50 rooms per cruise ship that this discount is offered on, so you have to act fast. 3) Use a Disney Rewards Visa: when you use a Disney rewards Visa, you’ll actually get a moderate onboard cruise credit that you can use while on your vacation. And that’s a discount cruise price in itself! Just book your Disney Cruise Line vacation with your Disney Rewards Visa, and they’ll give you a credit to be used when you’re onboard the ship. This credit can used toward merchandise, spa treatments, and even excursions when the ship is at port! 4) Book Your Next Cruise Ahead of Time: one of the best deals you can get on a discount Disney cruise vacation is by booking your next cruise while you’re still on your first one! If at any time on your cruise you decide you want to come back, you’ll receive an onboard credit for your future cruise and up to 10% your next cruise. That can be substantial if you’re thinking of bringing the whole family back! In fact, you can even change the dates of the future cruise later on if you need to, and you’ll still keep the onboard credit and the discount. 5) Check Group Discounts: some travel agents hold blocks of spaces for Disney cruises, and these can result in a nice discount for your cruise fare. You don’t have to use more than one of the cabins or staterooms, and if you don’t want to, you don’t have to participate in any of the designated group activities. These group deals are generally bought for the purpose of offering them to larger community groups or parties that might want to take a vacation together, and when there are spaces left over – that’s when you can step in and get a great deal! |
